The free giveaway features the work of participating artist Cynthia Adams. The prize, a 30″ x 30″ hand embellished gallery wrapped canvas Giclée titled “Outside the Box”, will be on display in her booth where registration will also take place. Her work can be defined as brightly colored, abstract mixed-media contemporary art that inspires and energizes any interior space. No purchase will be necessary to participate and the winner will be announced during the final hour of the art show. To learn more about Cynthia and explore her work visit her website at   www.casaartstudio.com.

Cynthia Adams tells The Rickie Report, ” The inspiration for this painting, as with most of my work, comes from the energy of colours and how they interact with each other and what kind of mood is created with each pass or layer of something new. Using a palette knife I often apply each subsequent layer with acrylic and then scrape back to expose the history of the painting. Using charcoal and oil pastel along the way for the element of line let’s me take the viewer on a journey through and around the painting. In the end these lines and layers are all a unique way of transferring my thoughts onto the canvas”.

In addition, the 2015 Las Olas Art Fair collectors’ edition poster will be available for purchase at the event and features the work of artist Steven Penafiel.

Fabulous Felted Garments by Ellyn Bernstein

Suzanne says, “There comes a time when we want to wear something unique, something cut from a different cloth. That is when we look to the artist, a creative soul who can stitch and knot and sew or bead a wondrous wearable, and in donning his or her masterpiece, we become a walking work of art ourselves”.
