Janet Gold is an award-winning artist in her own right who works in a number of mediums, among them pastels, photography, and collage. She states, “I have been a collector for as long as I can remember. Rusty objects, prison art, sock monkeys…objects with an innate sense of design, sense of history, and flavor to the material.” She intentionally works on an intimate scale, which entices the viewer into close proximity to see her integration of found objects, fabrics, papers, and stitching. Her work will be on view.
