” Your Art Palette – How to Develop Your Collection While Your Discerning Tastes Grow”.

Free to Members, $10 Nonmembers

On the 3rd Thursday evening of each month, enjoy a wine and passed hors d’ oeuvres reception featuring fun, social activities, such as concerts, lectures, art demonstrations, live performances and gallery talks. It’s a perfect opportunity to broaden your knowledge of the arts and mingle with other art enthusiasts and Lighthouse ArtCenter members.   Sponsored by the Meyer Law Firm.

Violeta tells The Rickie Report, “In a world where we can relate to food and wine, often times , more than we can relate to Art, we’ll discuss how to acquire new works as your taste develops. Our taste in Art changes with exposure and time…”

During this presentation, Violeta will address how developing your Art Palette will help you grow with your art investments. From where to view Art, how to look at it, how to relate and how to make better decisions in who or what to collect while staying in your comfort zone or, stepping outside of it in order to diversify your portfolio.

NEWpage3Meet and Greet Invite with Hugh O'Neill

Hugh O’Neill was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1959. He studied painting in Belfast Ireland from 1981-1985 spending some of that time studying in Nante and Paris, France. O’Neill’s approach to his oil painting is direct, bold and figurative. He is a visual musician who is forever searching for the ultimate melody on canvas, an artistic pioneer and a man who survived through brutal conflict growing up in war torn Northern Ireland. Hugh O’Neill has been a modest man all his life but his work speaks for itself in grand visual concertos of timeless skill. The poet of the day and the eyes of a truly gifted artist, he continues to work in silent hues of robust color for all to see. His work is alive and worth seeking out as its energy is best felt up close.

Hugh O’Neill owns a prominent place in art history, as an important modern master who has influenced countless others. Always ahead of his time, he first pioneered the En Plein Air teaching tradition into several leading art institutions including The Society of the Four Arts and the Lighthouse ArtCenter and Museum. As one art writer once said, “Claude Monet himself would have admired the continued strength of O’Neill’s work”. Hugh’s first U.S. one-man show on Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, in 1995 saw a complete sell out in the first night of the show, with collectors from New York to Paris.

Hugh tells The Rickie Report, “En Plein Air International (EPAI) promotes both nationally and internationally, a heightened visual appreciation of beautifully important locations. We further enjoy that exquisite beauty and history by sharing with the public our passion, deep knowledge and experience through lectures, art exhibitions art workshops, and cultural travel of only the highest quality. We are perfectly located on the historic Center street, Jupiter Florida just minutes from I95 and A1A. Close to the coast, great eateries and easy to find”!
