Prices have been set to suit all budgets and range from $3 to $3,000.  This show is produced by American Craft Endeavors, a sister company of Howard Alan Events, the producer of Hobe Sound’s signature Festival of the Arts held each February in the city’s Historic Downtown.  Admission is free and open to the public.

For nature lovers who are not necessarily flower fans, there are leaves!  If you live here and miss those autumn leaves, this is a way to enjoy those memories without raking!

Real daisies, larkspur, & hydrangeas are a few of our favorite selections designed into pendants, pins and earrings!

The natural beauty of the real flowers & real leaves are protected to prevent fading by enriching the original color. Each petal and leaf is delicately handpainted using lacquer, 24K gold and sterling silver. The pendants are reversible, with the back side showing just as much detail with a little added color from the green stems or lighter shading.

They share, “Nature has a language all it’s own. Every flower petal, leaf or special item that may catch your eye has a sentiment meaning dating back from the early 1800’s when giving flowers meant more than words could express. Each description will be included with your purchase. A listing of the meanings of flowers and leaves is found in the general directory”.  The Rickie Report thinks it is not too late to buy one of these as a post-Valentine’s gift, a keepsake offering or just because….

The Rickie Report staff looked at these images as we prepared this article and everyone seemed to have more than one favorite!  And the ideas started to flow….”bridesmaid gifts,  Mother’s Day gifts, birthdays, anniversaries (the flowers never fade), and our favorite, ‘Just because’, and ‘maybe even just for me'”!
