“Open Heart” by Kaitlynn Gallagher

When Kaitlynn Galligher and Rickie Leiter, publisher of The Rickie Report met, we knew Kaitlynn’s gift is how she captures the eyes, understanding that they have so much to tell us!  A self-taught artist, Kaitlynn specializes in portraits, hence “Katecameo Art”.

“Flourish” by Kaitlynn Gallagher

Kaitlynn’s style combines elements from traditional art, along with modern techniques and themes. She tells us, “While I paint a broad spectrum of subjects, a large portion of my work is portraits because I believe the face has so much to tell. My goal as an artist is to capture the story, emotion, and tone of a person or scene in my work”.

“Divine Divide” by Kaitlynn Galligher

Kaitlynn’s passion for art started at a young age, and she was immediately drawn to portraiture which has over the years culminated in a unique style. She is heavily influenced by the Romantic era as well as Byzantine art, and these influences combined with modern technique produce a one-of-a-kind look. Her work evokes emotion and story. Whether it be the portrait of a loved one or a fine art piece, the depth is ever-present. Her work explores color and eye contact in a such a way to evoke emotion from the viewer, to connect them to the subject and their story.

Kaitlynn Galligher “Katecameo Art” lives in Martin County, FL, where she is active in the Martin Artisans Guild. Kaitlynn will be showing her work at ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival in the Emerging Artists category.

“Mandarin Duck” by Nancy Tilles

Nancy Tilles is an Award Winning artist known for her oils and portraits, which hang in public and private collections throughout the country. In the past, Nancy has enjoyed exhibiting her paintings in outdoor festivals throughout South Florida including Artigras, Sunfest, Artsfest of Stuart, Naples Art Fair, Jupiter Art Fest by the Sea and many others. Her paintings have represented Artsfest of Stuart and Jupiter Art Fest for posters and promotion. Influenced by living in tropical South Florida for over 30 years, Nancy has been lauded for the rich use of color in her art, and teaches painting to adults in Palm Beach Gardens. There, she shares her love of painting with her students.

“Adam and Eve” by Nancy Tilles

“For fifteen years I enjoyed participating in outdoor art festivals where I got the chance to meet so many nice and interesting people. I made a conscience decision to stop exhibiting in this way when I downsized from a large home to a small villa. No longer could I have the luxury of working on three large paintings at the same time. My canvases shrunk from hiding me when I carried them to various small sizes that could fit on a bookshelf, Nancy explains”.

“Mia” by Nancy Tilles

“That also sparked a change in my subject matter. Although I loved painting fantastical scenes of underwater life, I had exhausted much of my inspirations and really just wanted to concentrate on painting from real life. I joined a life drawing group and paint from a model with them, once a week. I believe it is making me a better painter and teacher”, Nancy tells us.

“Peppers” by Nancy Tilles

Nancy shares,”Over the past year, I have painted many smaller paintings. This show represents some of the work I have done this year minus the paintings created with a live model . The subject matter is still evolving. I am excited to share my paintings with you and looking forward to hearing your thoughts”
