Patricia McCleery Invents Jewelry with History

Yearning to know more about our ancient past is not a new phenomenom.  Patricia McCleery is inspired by the cliff dwellings of “the ancients” as she invents, designs and constructs magnificent pieces of jewelry.  Patricia’s line is available at Gallery Five and her newest pieces will be available from March 1 – 31st.  The Rickie Report suggests you stop by to see her new limited edition necklaces, her easy-to-wear cuffs and other jewelry pieces.

Patricia McCleery has been fascinated with the amulets and talismans of ancient culturesThe ancient cliff dwellings of the Southwest inspired her to use Prehistoric Mammoth tusk, and Australian Boulder Opal in combination with silver and 22K gold to create pieces that connect us to a mysterious ancient message.  An ancient message retold in modern time.

After 25 seasons in Tequesta’s Gallery Square, they relocated in 2007 to a new venue — still in Tequesta, and only a half-block from US 1 instead of a half-mile. The boutique is now at 140 Bridge Road, just one short block south of Tequesta Drive. (If you drive down US 1, Bridge Road is where you’ll see the CVS Pharmacy and Texaco Service Station. Look for Gallery Five  four doors west of the Texaco Station.)

For the season, December-March, their showroom is open Monday through Saturday 10-5. For the rest of the year, they are open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 5, and at other times “when the spirit moves us.” Of course, they’ll be available by appointment. If you’re coming from out of town, we suggest that you call first (561-747-5555). You can always shop on-line 24/7 at www.gallery5.com
