Artist’s Eye Gallery Showcases The Magic Of Art With Life-Like Creations By BJ Collister And “Seeing Is Believing” Exhibit. Free, Opening Reception On Friday, April 5

Have you said, “Wow, that is unbelievable!” when you view an artist’s work?  The combination of talent, skill, and creativity to create something from nothing is the joy of every artist. It is the “magic” of art!  The Artist’s Eye Gallery & Boutique, the home of the Lake Worth Art League, invites the public to their 7th Eye-Catching exhibit.  “Seeing Is Believing” opens on Friday, April 5.  This show also highlights the artwork and life-like painted dolls of BJ Collister.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.  The exhibit is available through April 28.  Stop by and be amazed!!

We often hear the exclamation “Wow, that is unbelievable!” when folks view an artist’s work. The combination of talent, skill and creativity to create something from nothing is the joy of every artist and the magic of art. This is the inspiration of our 7th show in our Eye-Catching Season of Art, “Seeing is Believing”.

 
 

We invite you to see some unbelievable works of art from April 2nd – April 28th. This show also includes the artwork and life-like painted dolls of BJ Collister. The dolls she creates are works of art that look so alive observers are shocked that they are not real!

Join us on Friday evening, April 5th, from 6 to 8 pm for our opening reception to see the show, meet the artists and enjoy some light refreshment, and to shop our boutique. All artwork on display has been created by our local artists.

It’s the 6th of 8 judged art exhibitions in our Eye-Catching Season of Art, and our second season show that is open to all artists!

This show also features a Special Exhibition by artist and photographer, Diane DeHon

Our featured artist is a fourth generation Floridian that loves the beaches, rivers and the Everglades. Mesmerized by the animals, flora, water and their interaction with each other, the colors, the peacefulness and the geometrical shapes that can be seen in the plants, Diane is driven to capture that uniqueness and wonder as both a photographer and a painter.

“Meet the Artists” Opening Reception is on Friday, March 1, from 6 to 8 pm

during the City of Lake Worth Block Party. 

Just steps off Lake Avenue, at L Street and Lucerne Avenue, our Exhibits and Receptions are open to the public. Receptions offer an opportunity to MEET THE ARTISTS, enjoy light refreshment, and shop in our Boutique for unique items created by our artists!

FLAG, State-Wide Artists Group Invites Public To 67th Annual Art Exhibition

The Florida Artists Group (FLAG) is a non-profit organization of professional artists in 1949. Its members are artists whose work has attained national or state-wide recognition.  The purpose of the group is to stimulate attainment of the highest standards of creative art within the State of Florida. The Public is Invited to FLAG’s 67th Annual Art Exhibition located at the Coral Springs Museum of Art. Members’ Annual Exhibition:

The annual exhibition is juried for awards (currently nine) that are presented at the Awards Banquet held as part of the Symposium. FLAG hosts an eminent artist, educator, curator or Museum professional to act as juror and Keynote Speaker at the Symposium.
