Cheryl Maeder tells The Rickie Report, “The core of the work is “connection”; the connection to the self, each other and to all life forms on this planet…” Maeder’s photography became the inspiration for the Dove Campaign on ‘Real Women, Real Beauty’, which transformed the way women are viewed in the global media.
Video installation by Cheryl Maeder
Cheryl Maeder is intuitively linked to everything in the world around her and us. Now is our chance to see a variety of her works which focus on relatedness. She speaks for Mother Nature, as a guide to all of us. The core of Cheryl Maeder’s work is about “connection”; the connection to the self, each other and to all life forms on this planet. It is Maeder’s philosophy, that we humans are not only of this world, we are also connected to the broader universe. It is this concept that permeates throughout her limited edition photographs and video installations…
RCK Gallery owner, Clay Kanzler shares, “Cheryl Maeder will also be featuring a video installation in the main gallery which will be very exciting for Stuart to enjoy! Come and discover this unique exhibition as RCK brings the incredible experience to The Treasure Coast!” Maeder’s installations have been exhibited in public art platforms on climate change and the environment in the United States, South America & Europe.
