Clay Fountains By Lorrie

Lorrie Goss creates original and custom interior water fountain art perfectly suitable for a home or professional office décor.  The water vessels as well as the interior sculptural pieces are hand sculpted from stoneware clay.  Each is designed to complement and enhance the color and theme of the base fountain.  Many pieces include hand crafted copper elements and a subtle light that adds even more interest for the functional water flow design.  All pieces are original and no two are alike.

Growing up in an artistic family, Lorrie Goss originally attended Grand Valley State University for her BA degree in Art. She had taken a  3-D sculptural design class which changed her direction completely. From that one class she began to incorporate design with water fountains.  Lorrie creates original fountains that can be placed in any location throughout the home or office which includes pools or lanais, or any room with an electrical outlet.

By 2011, she had accumulated more equipment , prompting an expansion of her own clay studio at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, which includes two kilns, and a gallery showroom at Main Street Studio and Gallery in Vero Beach, Florida. While it took some time to get the studio up and running, her name and work received more and more notice.

Today, with the business Clay Fountains By Lorrie, she devotes her time between the ceramic studio and attending art shows and galleries in towns throughout  Florida. Her background in design and bright personality allow her to produce works that are as functional as they are original, custom, captivating and joyful!

Lorrie was recently showcased in the Sandpiper Bay Neighbors Magazine April 2016 edition as a ceramic sculptural artist along with her husband Ken. She was also showcased in Vero Beach Magazine as the featured artist at Main Street Studio and Gallery.  She received 1st Place awards at the Indian River Birding Festival, the Hibiscus Festival Art and Fine Craft Show, and Peoples’ Choice awards at Sandhill Cove Arts Festival and Marker 23 Gallery’s “Endangered Florida” Exhibit. Lorrie is a member of the Martin Arts Guild, Lighthouse ArtCenter, Main Street Vero Beach, and serves on the Board of the Martin Arts Council.
