Art School Director, Inga Ford tells The Rickie Report, “We are really excited about starting this new school year and seeing returning and new faces! We have listened to your comments and have tried to address them. You should notice some of these changes such as parking lot lighting, a new kiln, additional potter’s wheels and stations, additional studio lighting, new easels, fresh paint, a new vending machine and the library is now a studio”!

She adds, “We have also added some new classes and instructors and we hope you find something new to try. If we have any advice to impart it would be to sign up as soon as you can to ensure your place. Every day we strive to create an environment that is transformative, inspiring and welcoming for all. Tuesday – Water Media Painting Instruction with Inez Hollander 9:30AM – 12:30PM

An innovative approach to acrylic and watercolor painting… Free the eye, the hand and the heart through an exploration of water based media (watercolor or acrylic paint). Discover the wonderful paintings you can create. Use watercolor, acrylic paint, crayon, ink, chalk and/or collage to expand painting skills in color, composition, and design.

Small group lessons help the student master the art of painting in water-based media. All levels of experience are welcome. Some drawing skills required. A new lesson is presented each week. Following the demonstration, the students apply the lesson to the project of their choice or a project suggested by Inez.
