Las Olas Art Fair Showcases Fine Art And Craft, FREE Art Giveaway, Promotes Breast Cancer Research Funding and Donations To “In Jacob’s Shoes”

The Las Olas Art Fair returns on October 17th and 18th to support Breast Cancer Awareness month. Festival promoter Howard Alan Events takes an active role during the month of October, as proceeds from the sale of breast cancer awareness artwork will be donated to The Shula Fund at the Moffitt Cancer Center. In Jacob’s Shoes will be accepting donations to help in their mission to provide shoes, and school supplies to children in need throughout South Florida.  In addition, there will be a Free Art Giveaway.  Admission is free and open to the public.  Presenting sponsor, The Lincoln Motor Company, invites festival patrons to stop by their display and experience a range of quality luxury vehicles. In Jacob’s Shoes, a public charity providing shoes, backpacks & school supplies to local children in need, will be onsite to raise awareness and accept donations of new and gently used items. Fundraising efforts allow them to also provide grants for camp, aftercare, sports and enrichment programs. “Getting new shoes just isn’t possible for many children in our community,” explains Harelne Zweig, founder and director of In Jacob’s Shoes. “We strive to help children in poverty walk with dignity. We must continue our mission to raise awareness and gain the support of our neighbors throughout South Florida.
