Two Free Exhibits At Levis JCC Highlight AP Students Plus Annual Pottery Guild Exhibit And Sale
Two exhibits open at the Levis JCC in Boca Raton that will catch your attention. The Advanced Placement 11th and 12th graders at the Donna Klein Jewish Academy will share unique canvases (part of their portfolios that are submitted to the College Board to receive college credits). The free Opening Reception takes place on Sunday, March 18th. The Levis JCC Pottery Guild Annual Exhibition & Sale opens on Sunday, March 25th. Utilitarian, sculptural and decorative works of ceramics created by members of the Levis JCC Pottery Guild and its new director, Cynthia Zmetronak, are on display and many will be for sale. The Arts program at Donna Klein Jewish Academy provides an environment that encourages exploration, creativity and research in Drama, Art History, Studio Art, Graphic Design and Ceramics. Our 11th and 12th grade Advanced Placement (AP) students prepare portfolios that are submitted to the College Board to receive college credits. Each student creates a series of 12 canvases that explore a unique theme.
