Gallery 526 Collective Extends “Show Us Your Best” Exhibit Through July 31. Announces 4-Week Series Of Adult Fine Art Classes With Ted Matz Beginning July 1.

Gallery 526 has added “Collective” to its name!  Gallery 526 Collective in the artsy Northwood neighborhood of West Palm Beach has extended “Show Us Your Best” Exhibit through July 31. In addition, accomplished fine artist/teacher, Ted Matz is offering a 4-week series, “Play Time”, where artists of all levels of experience and all mediums can explore different aspects of painting and creativity in the company of other artists.  Classes begin Thursday, July 1.  The Rickie Report shares the details of the exhibit and Ted’s classes, with some sneak peeks.  REGISTER NOW!

Each week you will explore different aspects of painting and creativity to help you improve your skills while enjoying the company of other artists. These sessions are open to all mediums and levels of experience.

Week 1: Paint glass and other shiny objects
Week 2: Mix realistic greens
Week 3: Improve your brush strokes and mark making

Week 4: Paint realistic flowers


About Ted Matz

Ted calls Lake Worth, Florida, his home. He teaches workshops and online classes in watercolor, oil and acrylic, abstract, and plein air painting. Ted was the co-founder and past President of The New School of the Visual Arts in Jupiter, Florida, and was formerly the Chair of Painting and Drawing at the Lighthouse Art Center Museum and School of Art in Tequesta, Florida. About Gallery 526

Gallery 526 specializes in contemporary and classic fine art, three-dimensional media in sculpture, limited edition artworks, fine art photography, and hand- crafted jewelry and textiles. You’ll find works in acrylic, watercolor, oil, mixed media, pastel, wood, stone & metal, and many other mediums. “Live Art” demonstrations will engage guests providing a live view of the process of creating art. Coral Springs Museum Of Art Features WITVA’s “Artistic Explorations” Exhibition With Opening Reception December 6th

WITVA‘s ( Women In The Visual Arts) “Artistic Explorations” Exhibition opens to the Public with a Free Event on Wednesday, December 6th.  Please note the change of date from previous publicity!!  The Exhibit takes place in the Main Gallery of the Coral Springs Art Museum and refreshments will be provided by Bacardi.  This juried exhibit is one of six annually, where WITVA members can participate.  The Rickie Report gives you the details and some sneak peeks.
