Cary Pomales “Everglades Couche de Soleil”

She continues, “Within the past few years I have been blessed to have the opportunity to retire from my full time career and without hesitation I have reengaged my creative self by taking various painting classes and workshops to include Acrylic, Oil and Watercolor classes with many accomplished artists. I have rekindled my passion to paint”!

Caryl Pomales “Floral bol en verre”

The beauty of her natural surroundings, fauna and flora inspire Caryl. “The vivid color and pronounced texture I see are key elements that are demonstrated within my paintings.  Travel and photography as my second passion has afforded me the opportunity to capture many exhilarating scenes throughout the United States, Europe and southern Africa. I often refer to my travel photographs as my inspiration”.

Cary Pomales “Bandoola of Botswana”

Excitedly, Caryl shares, “I am currently painting a series of small paintings in oils, which reflect my recent visit to the Tuscany and Umbria regions of Italy. My viewers recognize my paintings by my utilization of vibrant color choices and pronounced impasto texture or prominent brush stroke. A sense of joy and passion is implemented and identified within my body of work”.

Caryl Pomales “Cinque Picora”
