Las Olas Art Fair Part II Returns March 4th And 5th With Over 200 Artists From 30 States

The 29th Annual Las Olas Art Fair (Part 2) returns to Las Olas Boulevard March 4 – 5.  Over 200 national and international artists from over 30 states will display stunning creations during this free, two day juried showcase.  Presented by Howard Alan Events, producer of the nation’s top outdoor art festivals, Las Olas Art Fair is considered an annual tradition in South Florida.  Meet the artists, ask about techniques, commission a specific piece and discover the inspiration behind each magnificent creation. Join local residents and visitor as you peruse the outdoor gallery of over 200 artists representing 30 different states, countries and dozens of diverse mediums. They will line the center of Las Olas Boulevard. Sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art and more are displayed, gallery-style, for the enjoyment of art appreciators, collectors, shoppers and pedestrians alike. One of the signature art fairs in the country, demand by both artists and the patrons led Howard Alan Events to expand the showcase across multiple months.

The Rickie Report knows it is autumn when the Southern Handcraft Society, Pineapple Grove Chapter, announces their annual Craft Show.  We want you to not only attend this 21st Annual Event, but also note that they will be offering free demonstrations at the Hagen Ranch Public Library AND they are always looking for people to join their monthly sessions in Delray Beach!   More details are in this article.

Southern Handcraft Society, Pineapple Grove Chapter, Delray Beach Our Pineapple Grove chapter of the Southern Handcraft Society is over 20 years old.  We have 60 members this year consisting of local artists and crafts people.  We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Senior Center at Veterans Park at 7pm.

We are a group of extremely talented and crafty people who create paintings, cards, journals, jewelry, knitted items, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.  We’re friendly; we’re very funny and we always welcome new members.

Our 21st Annual Juried Craft Show will again be held at the Vintage Gymnasium at Delray Beach Center for the Arts (Old School Square).  come see our beautiful, hand-made items.  All craft items are one-of-a-kind.  All items are, of course, made right here in the United States.  Be prepared to be amazed!

The Delray Beach Center for the Arts is on NE 1st Street and NE 1st Avenue in Delray Beach.  Admission to the show is free and parking before 5pm in the public parking lot across the street is free.

As a special treat, our group has been invited to display and work on our crafts at the Palm Beach County Hagen Ranch Library in Delray Beach (on Hagen Ranch Road just off Atlantic Avenue).  We will be in the library on Friday, November 15, 2013, from 1pm to 4pm.  Come out to see us at work and find out about our group.  This is a free event.
