Center For Creative Education Presents Bruce Helander’s Professional Practice Lectures

The Center for Creative Education is pleased to announce a two session workshop beginning January 6th, designed for working, motivated artists who wish to learn more about managing a successful career and the business of art.  Bruce Helander, Board Member of the CCE, will lead the workshops. Helander’s wealth of experience as a practicing artist, critic, arts consultant, gallery owner, art dealer, former editor-in-chief of The Art Economist, former White House Fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts, former dean of the Rhode Island School of Design, and member of the Florida Artists Hall of Fame, will inform the varied topics. The Center for Creative Education is pleased to announce a workshop designed for working, motivated artists who wish to learn more about managing a successful career and the business of art.

 

 

 

Bruce Helander, board member of the CCE, will lead the workshops. Lecture is accompanied by a Free copy of Don Thompson’s book The $12 Million Stuffed Shark. “…is a cutting-edge approach to the economics and psychology of the contemporary art world.”

“Getting Seen: Exhibitions, Collectors, Museums”
Best methods for contacting galleries concerning exhibitions.
The benefits of entering juried shows and competitions.
How to attract collectors and museum reps to your studio.
How to arrange museum acquisitions of your work.

Ebba TinWin’s SOLO Exhibit At Casper’s On Park Promises Vibrant Colors

Ebba TinWin grew up by the wind and waves of the Baltic Sea in Northern Germany. Before coming to the United States, she spent seven years in her husband’s native country of Burma (now Myanmar) in Asia. Some of Ebba’s whimsical collages were inspired by the vibrant colors of the Orient.  The Rickie Report shares the details of her SOLO Exhibition at Casper’s on Park, a delightful spot for lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch.  The Reception on June 14th is Open for the Public to enjoy Ebba’s art and Chef Giuseppe’s refreshments. The Exhibit runs from June 9th to July 5th.  Please note the venue is CLOSED on MONDAYS.

Ebba TinWin holds a master’s degree in education, but her passion has always been art. While living on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, she managed an Art Gallery in Cape Charles and also taught the art of collage.

In 2013, Ebba moved to Palm Beach County, Florida. Enchanted by the natural beauty of the Florida coast, Ebba continues to pursue her artistic endeavors. Her sea glass jewelry is on display at Artisans on the Ave in Lake Worth. Ebba’s paintings and collages can be seen at the Art on Park Gallery in Lake Park, home of Artists of Palm Beach County.
