Boca Museum Art School Classes Start With New Offerings And Special Short Classes

Boca Museum Art School classes start this week. In addition to the regular course offerings there are a few new classes and special short courses, including: Essential Skills for Painters, Fundamentals of Photoshop, Leather Jewelry, Chiaroscuro Drawing, a new evening jewelry making class, Saturday morning pottery class, and lots more!   On Sunday, September 18th photographers of all stages of experience are invited to FREE hands-on Workshops and Discussions. These are unstructured workshops run by art students. 
No instruction. These practice drawing workshops.

Boca Raton Museum Art School Partners With Plein Air Painters Of Palm Beach County Plus New Short Courses And Free 2nd Annual BOCA PHOTO

The Boca Raton Museum Art School is partnering with the Plein Air Painters of Palm Beach County to paint portraits of houses and views of the streets of Old Floresta. The outdoor painters will be painting in the neighborhood on two Thursdays per month from September to December.  The culminating event will be a juried exhibit of the painting in gallery of the Boca Museum Art School in March, 2016. The Boca Raton Museum Art School is partnering with the Plein Air Painters of Palm Beach County to paint portraits of houses and views of the streets of Old Floresta.

 

Old Floresta is the Mizner designed neighborhood behind the Art School. There are twenty-nine original 1920’s homes along the picturesque tree-lined streets of Old Floresta.

 

The outdoor painters will be painting in the neighborhood on two Thursdays per month from September to December.  The culminating event will be a juried exhibit of the painting in gallery of the Boca Museum Art School in March, 2016.

Creative Book Arts / Pop-Up Books

Redefine the concept of a “book” when you create unique 3 dimensional works of art using various formats for traditional and sculptural book forms. Students learn several paper engineering techniques, including a simple signature stitch binding with a fabric cover, basic pop-ups, and alternating page flag book.
