Northwood Offers Double Dose Of Creativity Tomorrow Night With Art Night Out And Studio Tours

Tomorrow night, Art lovers will get a double dose of creativity as the Art Night Out event in Northwood Village hosts an Artists’ Open House in the area’s Industrial District!  The Northwood Industrial District, located just a few blocks west of Northwood Village, consists of large warehouses that are working studios for several prominent local artists. Trolleys will shuttle guests from Art Night Out on the corner of Northwood Road and Broadway to the artists’ studios tour. Art Night Out will take place Friday, April 29, 2016, on Northwood Road in West Palm Beach. Southern Handcraft Society, Pineapple Grove Chapter, Delray Beach Our Pineapple Grove chapter of the Southern Handcraft Society is over 20 years old.  We have 60 members this year consisting of local artists and crafts people.  We meet the first Wednesday of each month at the Senior Center at Veterans Park at 7pm.

We are a group of extremely talented and crafty people who create paintings, cards, journals, jewelry, knitted items, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.  We’re friendly; we’re very funny and we always welcome new members.

Our 21st Annual Juried Craft Show will again be held at the Vintage Gymnasium at Delray Beach Center for the Arts (Old School Square).  come see our beautiful, hand-made items.  All craft items are one-of-a-kind.  All items are, of course, made right here in the United States.  Be prepared to be amazed!

The Delray Beach Center for the Arts is on NE 1st Street and NE 1st Avenue in Delray Beach.  Admission to the show is free and parking before 5pm in the public parking lot across the street is free.
Thursday, November 21, 2013 – 9am to 9pm
Friday, November 22, 2013 – 9am to 9pm
Saturday, November 23, 2013 – 9am to 2:30pm

As a special treat, our group has been invited to display and work on our crafts at the Palm Beach County Hagen Ranch Library in Delray Beach (on Hagen Ranch Road just off Atlantic Avenue).  We will be in the library on Friday, November 15, 2013, from 1pm to 4pm.  Come out to see us at work and find out about our group.  This is a free event.
