Call To Artists For Second Annual “Collaborations and Mixed Mediums” At Marjorie S. Fisher Gallery

The Marjorie S. Fisher Gallery at the Center For Creative Education is calling for 2D and 3D works of art. The Second Annual “Collaborations and Mixed Mediums” will be a Charitable Fine Art Juried Exhibition. The Deadline for entry is January 31, 2016.  Works to be considered must be of a nature compatible with the venue. Marjorie S. Fisher Gallery is within the Center for Creative Education which services 3rd, 4th and 5th grade children through a wide range of arts. The Rickie Report urges art patrons to save Saturday, March 5th for the Opening Reception!  Last year, this event was one of the big highlights of  “season”!  We share the details for this Call For Entries!

Works to be accepted:

– Open Medium Collaborative Works
– Mixed Media Works (these entries do not have to be collaborative efforts amongst 2 or more artists, but highlight mixed mediums within the work)
– 3D Works (free standing or with artist provided pedestal for exhibition)
– Indoor/Outdoor Installations (please contact host email for needs prior to submitting)

-Works to be considered must be of a nature compatible with the venue. Marjorie S. Fisher Gallery is within the Center for Creative Education which services 3rd, 4th and 5th grade children through a wide range of arts. For example it would be safe to stay away from submitting nudes. We utilize the gallery as an educational tool at times for some of our children to experience the world of art. Thank you for your support.

 

**All submitted 2D or hanging works must be wired and ready for hanging, loose flat work not framed (I.e. prints, photographs, etc..) will not be acceptable entries.**

Artists may submit high resolution images of collaborative or mixed media works directly to the Marjorie S. Fisher Gallery at jonathono@cceflorida.org along with:

  • Size
  • Medium
  • Pricing
  • Artist Statement
  • Contact Information
  • Payment Confirmation/Method.

$20 for Up to Three (3) artwork entries

Fisher Gallery – Center for Creative Education.  The Exhibition will highlight the CCE’s Curated Artist, Bev Myers, Arthouse 429, Bohemia AG, Thompson and Frank Gallery, John Garrity Studio, Hennevelt’s Gallery, Lot 23 Artists featuring Craig McInnis and Northwood Glass Art.  The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Wednesday, December 2nd from 6:00pm-8:00pm.  A $10 Donation for Entry will support the CCE’s mission to empower their students to grow academically, creatively and socially through arts-based education.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.
