MEET  FEATURED  ARTIST  EDWARD  LOEDDING:

“Ceremony” by Edward Loedding. Original pigment print on canvas.
Edward Loedding tells The Rickie Report, “I call my technique Visual Choreography because it brings many elements together to create a dance for your eyes. The process blends photo montage, digital painting, and a unique printing process that utilizes 12 colors of 100% pigment ink. I have been creating art this way for approximately 15 years, after more than 20 years as an oil painter”.
“Courante” by Edward Loedding. Original pigment print on canvas.
He says, “My transition from painting in oils to painting digitally was a search for a more fluid way to create artwork: a way to change lines and shapes and colors throughout the process as the piece evolved. Along the way, I discovered that this medium offered so much more. It was a way to execute my vision in real time as it unfolded; it was creating at the speed of thought”.

Edward and Dorothy Loedding with Patty Narozny

Edward tells us,”My primary residence is in Brandon, Vermont where I reside with my wife of 21 years, Dorothy. My studio is every artist’s dream: a 150 year old two story post and beam barn that sits 40 feet behind our renovated victorian home in the heart of a quintisentally quaint village. Brandon is also home to our new gallery – still under construction – that will showcase all of my most recent work. We also have a home on the gulf coast of Florida, where we spend our winters.  I am proud to belong to art collections all over the world, and Hotwork’s first-class events help me to reach that audience”.  For more information:  http://www.edwardloedding.com
