Here is the latest from AJ Brockman, “The Brewhouse Gallery has so much good news flying around on a daily basis that things sometimes get lost. That being said, this week marks one of the most incredible opportunities we could have ever hoped for. This is not a joke so please prepare yourselves, We have purchased an entire CITY BLOCK! That’s right, the team behind Brewhouse Gallery has taken the next step in revitalizing Lake Park and building something special by taking over ownership of the whole building. This includes bringing back the Mos’Art Theater (or as some of you may remember it the Kelsey Club). At this point we are all in… All in because we believe in what this area is becoming, the amazing support we get from all of you every day, the staff (or family as we like to say) behind us, and the ultimate vision of building a community”.

 

 

 

 

“Now, the real work begins. The sort of work that will ultimately change history. In this work we need your help… So please spread the word on what we are doing, scream it if you have to. We have a bunch of retail spaces available and we would love to hear what sort of project you might be interested in bringing to the scene. Keep an eye out for some brainstorming sessions and community forms in which we want feedback from all of you. We truly could have never imagined this journey and outcome in only a few short years, but it’s possible because of all of you and that can’t be said enough. Thursday – : Open Mic Night : 8 to 11 : Join us for our Thursday Hosted Open Mic Night.  Thursday’s have a great vibe with a killer lineup of songwriters, musicians, comedians and more.

 

Sign-ups start around 7 and performers take the stage around 8 pm. We have an in-house PA (limited microphones, cables, etc.) so please bring your equipment. It is a great mix of guitarists, spoken word poetry, vocalists, keyboard, drums, Improv & more.
