The New Studio for The Visual Arts shares a Call to Artists for an upcoming exhibition and benefit for the American Cancer Society. “POP! In honor of the men and women who have touched our lives and fought a battle with cancer, The New Studio for the Visual Arts of Jupiter, Inc. presents “POP! Power of Pink!” A specially tailored juried art exhibition to benefit the American Cancer Society.

 

 

We have all had loved ones who have been affected by cancer and these chapters of their lives are tough, to say the least. The New Studio for the Visual Arts believes we can help make a positive impact through art. POP! Power of Pink” was created based on the inspiration “How do you see pink as powerful?”

 

 

Using color to draw inspiration and power from, artists can submit work in oil, watercolor, pastel, graphite, mixed media and photography. Three-dimensional works in sculpture and jewelry are also accepted. Three awards of merit will be given in the cash prize of $300 each, in addition three honorable mentions will also be awarded in certificates. Sue Archer will serve as juror.

 

Submission fee are as follows: $35 for one image, $45 for two images, $55 for three images.

Exhibition submission process is being conducted through Juried Art Services.

Popular Fall Craft Festival Returns To Downtown Stuart Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A wide array of handmade art and crafts as well as unique and affordable gift items will be showcased at the 16th Annual Downtown Stuart Craft Fair, October 17 – 18, 2015. Fall Craft Festival Returns To Downtown Delray Beach October 3rd & 4th In Support Of Breast Cancer Research

The 21st Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival takes place on October 3rd and 4th. Over 100 leading crafters from throughout the U.S. will be selling their finest work including original handmade crafts, functional art and affordable gift items. The artistic media include folk art, pottery, handmade jewelry, wall hangings, ceramics, paintings, personalized gifts, handmade clothing, scented soaps and body products. Call for Entries: 5th Annual Arty Bras Fashion Show and Exhibition

The Lighthouse ArtCenter announces a Call for Entries for ArtyBras!  The 5th Annual imaginative fundraiser celebrates, entertains and inspires with whimsical ArtyBras creations.  There will be festive pink décor, pink drinks and pink hors d’oeuvres in abundance at the 5th Annual ArtyBras Fashion Show and Exhibition on Oct. 21, 2014, at the Lighthouse ArtCenter Museum.  The money raised through the auction and sponsorship efforts surrounding this unique event will benefit the Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center at the Jupiter Medical Center and the Lighthouse ArtCenter, a nonprofit Museum and School of Art.  The ArtyBras this year is once again being chaired by Jeff and Veronica Lichtenstein.
