Call For Artist Entries To “Wild Florida”: Cash Prizes, Juried By Clyde Butcher; Special Reception For Art And Nature Lovers

The Gallery at Center for Creative Education presents ‘Wild Florida’ a photography exhibition featuring images caught in the wild, in the state of Florida based on wildlife, habitats, or environmental impacts affecting those.  In addition, the Featured Fine Art Photographers include Raymond Gehman, Chris Gillette, Paul Marcellini, Greg Matthews*, David Moynahan, Mac Stone, Carlton Ward Jr., Marina Scarr (*Greg Matthews is co-curating this exhibition with The Gallery at CCE Manager, Jonathon Ortiz-Smykla).  These artists have been featured in National Geographic, Popular Photography, American Museum of Natural History (NY), National Wildlife, Audubon, and The Smithsonian.  The Rickie Report shares the details for this Call for Entries as well as the Opening Reception which takes place on Saturday, November 5th.  Wildlife Art lovers: Mark your calendars now!

About this Exhibit:

For eight years the celebrated DBA…Doing Business as Artist Entrepreneurs exhibitions have showcased a dynamic group of South Florida’s rising artists. All graduates of the Artist as Entrepreneur Institute, DBA artists have put principles learned in the workshop into practice to create their own vehicle for artistic success. This year they present CATALYST, an all-media exhibition highlighting select works from this accomplished group.  Curators of the Exhibit are Michael Harris and Timothy Leistner.
