Born in Tallahasee Fl, William started his artistic career as a color consultant for his family’s Design and Painting company that took on constant projects of custom painted interiors and decorating. This work of 20 yrs lead him to his fascination with textiles and paint, along with custom furniture. After creating and selling dozens of unique pieces of furniture, here began his transition from wall, to wood on furniture, to canvas. Painting on canvas was the culmination of his creative outlet. William feels that his lack of formal training in Fine Art has afforded him a freedom to paint what he envisions and feels, rather than conform to specific style or genre that he feels is limiting. Inspired by hard edge abstraction and color field art such as Kenneth Noland, Joseph Albers, Gene Davis, Frank Stella, Anne Truitt, Imi knobel. William shows his work locally and nationally and is being collected in Palm Beach Island, Washington and New York. Gallery Representation in Palm Beach, Miami, Boston and New York.

“Mandarin Duck” by Nancy Tilles

Nancy Tilles is an Award Winning artist known for her oils and portraits, which hang in public and private collections throughout the country. In the past, Nancy has enjoyed exhibiting her paintings in outdoor festivals throughout South Florida including Artigras, Sunfest, Artsfest of Stuart, Naples Art Fair, Jupiter Art Fest by the Sea and many others. Her paintings have represented Artsfest of Stuart and Jupiter Art Fest for posters and promotion. Influenced by living in tropical South Florida for over 30 years, Nancy has been lauded for the rich use of color in her art, and teaches painting to adults in Palm Beach Gardens. There, she shares her love of painting with her students.

“Adam and Eve” by Nancy Tilles

“For fifteen years I enjoyed participating in outdoor art festivals where I got the chance to meet so many nice and interesting people. I made a conscience decision to stop exhibiting in this way when I downsized from a large home to a small villa. No longer could I have the luxury of working on three large paintings at the same time. My canvases shrunk from hiding me when I carried them to various small sizes that could fit on a bookshelf, Nancy explains”.

“That also sparked a change in my subject matter. Although I loved painting fantastical scenes of underwater life, I had exhausted much of my inspirations and really just wanted to concentrate on painting from real life. I joined a life drawing group and paint from a model with them, once a week. I believe it is making me a better painter and teacher”, Nancy tells us.

“Peppers” by Nancy Tilles

Nancy shares,”Over the past year, I have painted many smaller paintings. This show represents some of the work I have done this year minus the paintings created with a live model . The subject matter is still evolving. I am excited to share my paintings with you and looking forward to hearing your thoughts”
