Patty Narozny’s Hotworks™ Art Shows Continue To Help Artists After Hurricane Ian And Attract Art Lovers. Applications Are Still Open For Naples Fine Art Show November 12 & 13 And Sarasota November 19 & 20
In the wake of Hurricane Ian hundreds of cultural events in Southwest Florida were canceled… Hotworks™ show promoter Patty Narozny was aware that hundreds of artists had lost homes, studios, and opportunities to sell at shows. Her Hotworks™ events are some of the few to survive the storm. While forced to postpone one show in Ft Myers, Narozny worked with the management of Paradise Coast Park and Sports Complex in Naples to keep her November show dates and accommodate artists who were impacted by the storm. Helping artists recover from storms isn’t new for Narozny who has provided exhibit grants for artists previously. The Naples Fine Art Show will be held at Paradise Coast Park and Sports Complex November 12-13. The Hotworks™ Fine Art show at Phillippi Estate Park, Sarasota, FL is near downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key November 19 & 20. Admission is free to both events. If you have been to a Hotworks™ show before, you know the quality of creative work is superb. If you have been an artist at a Hotworks™ show before, please contact Patty directly. The Rickie Report shares the details and urges artists to apply, though deadlines have passed.

Paradise Coast Park & Sports Complex Naples, FL is located just off east I-75 in the middle of Naples’s newest affluent neighborhoods with homes valued to $3 million and higher. This is a brand new and state-of-the-art venue with higher visibility, Friday move-in, more parking, new restrooms, and many more affluent neighbors with new homes! The complex hosts many upscale special and cultural events.
The Ian storm stories are numerous… In Englewood a local jewelry designer sheltered at home while his roof was ripped off and large trees fell through the living room ceiling.
Another artist sheltered in their RV while their home was destroyed.
Every Southwest Florida artist has been impacted in one way or another; some are sheltering family members, while others are helping neighbors with repairs.
