This free workshop is for anyone or everyone who wishes to strengthen self-awareness and self-expression. Led by Maxine Schreiber, artist and retired licensed mental health counselor, the workshop is designed for the seasoned artist to deepen creative pathways and to learn tools for overcoming periods of blocking or self-doubt. It is also for anyone who longs for the opportunity to unleash creative potential.

Using art therapy techniques, the process of creating will be emphasized rather than the product. Paper, crayons, and magic markers will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring in supplies for any medium they choose to use for their self-expression: sketch pads, pencils, paint, clay, newspaper, construction paper, scissors, collage materials, glue, beads, feathers, etc.  Whatever sparks your creative juices.
