Helen Kagan’s Colorful Artwork Brings Joy And Positivity – Visit Her Open Studio January 20th and 21st

What makes Helen Kagan‘s artwork stand out? Her paintings are colorful with spiritual messages embedded in them. Just viewing them simply makes your brain think with more positivity! Helen is one of the professional artists participating in the Martin County Open Studio Tour on Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st. The tour is Free and Open to the public. The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks of Helen’s artistry.

THE   HEALING   ARTS   OF   HELEN   KAGAN

Photo of Helen Kagan in her Studio

Helen Kagan’s artwork is more than dots of brush strokes of paint on a canvas. The intentions with which she paints (for positivity, for spiritual healing, acceptance of one’s situation, increased energy) embeds symbols that are meaningful not only to Helen but to the viewer ( though the viewer may not be as aware of them). A secret message? Perhaps. It is Helen’s way to manifest her deep belief in healing arts as part of the whole-world and whole-person view. And for those who dismiss these notions, it is OK to just love the colorful images and enjoy looking at them!

Helen shares her mission in this informative video:

https://youtu.be/c7kHX1CXTmk

WRBiTV Interview “Healing Arts” in Healthcare (June, 2017)

Helen tells us, “ I believe art heals. A holistic therapist and artist for over 25 years, I’ve developed a unique technique and style “Healing Arts” which is a vehicle for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being, and can enhance healing to those in need. Coming from a family of scientists I’ve been always fascinated by the left and right brain relationship which led me to study many things – from mathematics and science to psychology, therapy and healing to fine art, and finally led to create my unique venue “Healing Arts”. It reflects my own deep view on Life, a desire to bridge Realities and heal the Past. Communicating on subliminal levels, my art delivers this message through positive intentionality and healing frequencies of color, which brings you in touch with your own Journey”.

Helen works in oil and acrylic and has been experimenting with mixed media. Her canvases are influenced by impressionism, and expressionism. They are bold, passionate, colorful, vibrant, all intuitive. She shares, “I believe art is a catalyst for healing individuals, society and the environment. I believe in the inter-connectedness of mind, body and spirit. I believe that now, more than ever, the World needs the positive energy and spiritually-based intentions, beliefs and values”.

“Big Apple I Love New York!” by Helen Kagan

Helen Kagan, PhD. was born in a cold Siberian winter in what then was the USSR. She grew up in a Communist State where oppression and control were a daily reality. Underlying it all, her beliefs, values, and a great respect for freedom to express yourself persevered. In 1991 her quest for freedom led her to the US, where she brought her Jewish heritage, a few graduate degrees, and an unending thirst to explore the World and its meaning.

Mainly self-taught Helen has been painting for as long as she remembers, and since 2005 professionally. Her art is better experienced “in-person” due to live vibrations of bright colors, heavy textures, usually large size, and an overall charisma and liveliness. If you are a seeker on a Quest looking for a quintessential insight, a person who wants to embrace a healing power of art, or just wishing to feel better – you might find yourself on a Journey to discovering your inner strength, or you may find it rewarding to meditate with Helen’s works (which many people do…).

Helen Kagan’s “My Universe Third Eye Series Healing Chakras”

Dr. Kagan envisions her art to be placed in Medical Centers, Multicultural Centers, Buildings, Corporations, Hospitals, Libraries, Crisis Centers… Wherever it can enhance healing and promote well-being. Helen believes in inter-connectedness of mind, body and spirit. She shares the belief that art is a catalyst for healing individuals, society and the environment. She feels privileged to be among such visionary artists and is happy to share her beliefs about the healing power of art. Her vibrant healing art is a combined statement of all her beliefs.

“Tales of My Life” by Helen Kagan

A globally acclaimed artist, Helen’s work has been published in local, national and international magazines, as well as art gallery books. She is currently involved with exciting work with an international span which is not ready for publication at this time. Her artistry has been featured in many online plus brick and mortar galleries including Saatchi, Fine Art America, BLINK, and is currently on display in galleries in FL, CA, NY, VT. She was named a “Collectible Artist 2016” by Brickell and Key Biscayne Magazines (“Dealer’s Dozen”, Dec. Issue 2016).

Helen has participated in over 50 Juried shows, local, national and international exhibitions, including SPECTRUM Art Basel (Miami), Art San Diego, Art Hamptons, Art EXPO (New York), Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series, ART HOP (VT), CONTINUUM, Art Palm Beach Art Synergy, RAW , City Hall of Hollywood (FL) “Art in Public Places” 3-months display, and many others.
