New Members Welcome!
PCAA is an active, interesting & diverse group of friendly, talented artists who share a love of art. Members work in a myriad of mediums including oil, acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, pastels, stained glass, wood, sculpture, metal & mixed media. With 3 on-going venues to display & sell work, and a big annual art show in February, there are lots of opportunities to express ourselves, share ideas and support and inspire one another. We work to grow our skills and there’s no better way to do that than collaborate with like-minded artists, which is why we’re always open & welcoming to new artists to join us.
Please come observe a meeting on the second Wednesday of each month Oct. thru May at 1pm at The Peter and Julie Cummings Library in Palm City , and see a fun demo, perhaps learn a new skill, and get inspired by the creativity and inspiration of our members. Once you observe a meeting, we are confident you will want to join our membership. Member dues enable us to 1) provide & pay knowledgeable artists to demo at meetings (this alone is worth every penny)! 2) pay our rent at the library; 3) cover the cost of our insurance; 4) cover the costs of our website provider; and 5) provide 3 annual scholarships to local high school students. Your dues make it possible for you to participate in all our activities, annual art show, and on-going exhibitions as well.
