“Together Forever” by Carol Moon

Carol Moon tells The Rickie Report, ” My mission is to infuse life into every canvas, transcending mere visual representation by infusing vibrant color and emotion with each stroke. Color, to me, is a language capable of narrating stories, inspiring change, connecting hearts, and fostering happiness. The techniques I use illuminate the simple moments of life creating tangible, visual narratives, aiming not only to captivate the eye but to stir the soul and inspire the viewer. My goal is to brighten the world with beauty, nurturing a shared appreciation for the richness that life offers”.  Guided by her parents from childhood,  Carol developed an appreciation for God’s creation—the intricacies of a flower, the brilliance of a sunset, the serenity of a white sandy beach, the playful breeze in a tall field, and the majestic presence of the ocean. These daily treasures, abundant in colors and contrast, deeply resonate with her heart.

“I believe that at the core of what art can achieve is the profound connection and intersection between the artist, the artwork, and the viewer. It’s not just about the tools and canvas; it’s about the shared narratives, the connections forged, and the joy found in every stroke”.

Carol’s artistic journey has taken her through many studios, exhibitions, and events as she’s welcomed the opportunity to develop and showcase her work. She’s participated in prestigious events (Art Prize of Grand Rapids, MI). While living in Nashville, she was selected to be a monthly participant in the Germantown Art Crawl and the Franklin Art Crawl in Franklin, TN. Her work has been on display at The Art Show Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, TN, and the Juno Beach Art Festival in Juno Beach, in addition to interior decor centers and various other exhibitions and venues. Her pieces have not only found their way into countless homes across the country, but have also attracted collectors and inspired many commissioned pieces. She continues to be featured and sought out for interviews as well, most recently for feature articles in both Shoutout Miami and 123Art Magazine’s online publications.

Recently Carol added to her creative base an Art Therapy Certification. She has a background in psychology, and experienced her mother’s 15-year progressive Alzheimer’s Disease. These things have lead her to an interest in helping those who feel locked inside, for whatever the reason, experience freedom through artistic expression. She’s excited to see where this could lead.

“I believe so much of creating art is about the story. Sure, my story of how a given piece comes to be. But, it’s also about the viewer’s story, what they experience in the presence of my work is so important to me. It brings me so much joy when our stories come together, and I believe that’s what art can do.

Carol is a self-taught artist, inspired by color, God’s creation, and a profound bond with her mother. She creates vibrant works celebrating the simple things in life. Carol believes that color has the power to connect hearts and lives, enriching the human experience. Two decades in a West Michigan studio group provided mentoring, exposure, and involvement in ArtPrize of Grand Rapids. Relocating to Nashville in 2012, she joined an artist group under an internationally known mentor and Florida welcomed Carol Moon Art LLC to Zero Empty Spaces Studios. She has been featured in Shoutout Miami and 123Art Magazine, exhibiting at Residence Inn, West Elm, and  “Whimsy & Wonder” at the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, highlight her achievements. Carol has been a featured artist at Zero Empty Studios in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is a member of the Artists of Palm Beach County and the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County and continually looks for ways to connect with her fellow creatives and contribute to the larger Palm Beach County artistic community.

Her journey continues, resonating with viewers, social media followers, and collectors who appreciate the uniqueness of her artistic expression.
