Gold Coast Watercolor Society (GCWS) Presents Teresa Kirk‘s “The Beauty of the Mark” with a 3 day workshop March 19 – 21, 2024.  This is Open to Non-Members so you can get a taste of what GCWS offers.  The workshop takes place at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale.  GCWS offers monthly meetings, October through May on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  In addition, check out their Flea Market sale of New and used art supplies!  Proceeds support their Young at Art Museum Summer Workshops.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.

Students will do exercises that will help them to make their own unique marks as a surprise element for their work. 




Students will play with these ideas along with the possibilities that will open as they work transparently and with opaque paint in watercolor and gouache.

What  you’ll  gain:


This workshop will engage your intuitive creativity.


Demos, group discussion and constructive critiques along with painting time are a part of this workshop. 


You will build upon that mark making process through negative painting, color mixing and design formats.

$50 cancellation fee

Cancel within 1 month no refund at all or: we will apply full monies to next available workshop in current year if one available.

 If there is a waitlist for a workshop and it can be filled, we will refund monies less $25.00 administration fee.
