The Armory Art Center Opens a Call for Regional Printmaking for an Exhibit from September 30 – October 20, 2022.  The public is welcome to the Opening Reception on Thursday, September 29. Eligible  categories include: Collage, Mixed media, Textiles, Silkscreen, Intaglio Printmaking, Relief Printmaking, Etching, Lithography,  Serigraphy (Screen Printing), Monotype, Woodcut, Linocut, Engraving, Drypoint, Aquatint, Spit bite Aquatint, and Photogravure.  The Rickie Report shares the details and urges established and emerging artists to apply!

 Public  Opening   Reception

Thursday, September 29, 2022 / 6 – 8 pm




Armory hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, Saturday, 9am-11am


Exhibit runs thru October 20, 2022 and is located  in Montgomery Hall




Art   work   accepted   includes:


Collage | Mixed media | Textiles | Silkscreen

 Intaglio Printmaking Relief Printmaking | Lithography

 Serigraphy (Screen Printing)

Monotype | Woodcut | Linocut | Engraving

Drypoint | Etching | Aquatint | Spit bite Aquatint | Photogravure



  • Applications accepted NOW thru September 15th
  • All entries must arrive with label attached to print; Required label is to include your name, title of work, dimensions and type of media
  • Application is a flat fee of $30.00 for up to 3 pieces
  • Payment accepted on Armory Art Center website 
  • Consignment is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Artist receives 70%, gallery receives 30%  
  • Juror / TBA

The Armory Art Center’s art school and galleries provide creative opportunities to enhance your life. The Armory has served the community for over 30 years. The mission of the Armory Art Center is to inspire the creation and experience of art and the Armory’s vision is to be the leading community resource for arts education. Serving over 3,000 students annually, the Armory Art Center offers 160 courses per term in six terms throughout the year to students ranging in age from pre-school to retiree. Classes in drawing, painting, photography, jewelry, fiber & textiles, ceramics, and sculpture are held in 12 state-of–the-art studios. Twelve exhibitions are hosted annually in three galleries. Exhibitions, lectures, and special events are open to the public.
