Since the nineteen eighties, Women In The Visual Arts, has been an organization for artists of South Florida as an important link for our surrounding art community including our neighboring art students. Our organization has gone through changes  but what remains is that we have always been an organization with “heart”. Our members tell us that the community knows us as, “A very friendly group of women”, Vice President Sandy Ryter tells The Rickie Report.

She shares, “We are planning to exhibit; showing our painters, sculptures, fine crafters and decorative artists.  We have fund-raising activities, arrange group painting sessions and craft times, and create art works to donate to community centers, hospitals and other facilities”. Check out our latest newsletter for updated events and where you can see some of our members’ work (virtually for now). WITVA is looking forward learning about other organizations to build a mutually satisfying relationship that will benefit all of us.
