New Clay Pottery And Sculpture Classes For Adults With Walter O’Neill Begin Wednesday, August 25
Walter O’Neill is teaching Clay: Pottery and Sculpting classes for adults at Northeast High School in Oakland Park, FL. Beginners and intermediate students are welcome. Register now for classes which start on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Experimenting with clay is a wonderful way to re-energize your creativity! Walter’s primary studio activity is now ceramics. He has participated in exhibits locally as well as been invited to art residencies to work in ceramics. Clay: Pottery and Sculpting Class
Have fun learning the basic techniques of making pottery or sculpture using clay. Projects include learning slab, coil, and other hand-building techniques and complete using a variety of finishing techniques. Small, relaxed, friendly class.
Intermediate students are also welcome to get advice while working on personal projects~
Note: Class uses only low-fire clay purchased in class. This is hand-building class only. Please bring basic pottery tool kit to first class, this can be purchased a local art stores or on line.
