Art Synergy 2020 Invites Artists And Art Lovers To Unleashed Art Fair, Inaugural Dinner & Awards On Saturday, January 25; Art Synergy Biblio/Art Palm Beach January 31 Through February 3
Art Synergy 2020 has a lot going on this season with three exciting events. Begin with the Unleashed Art Fair and the Art Synergy Inaugural VIP Dinner and Awards on January 25 in Industry Alley. Then move to the Palm Beach County Convention Center for Art Synergy/Biblio January 31 – February 3. In its 7th year, Art Synergy, guided by Rolando Chang Barrero and Ilene Gruber Adams, the field of artists has been opened internationally! Juried by John Cutrone, Director of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts at Florida Atlantic University Libraries, and partner in Lake Worth’s Convivio Bookworks, this promises to be exhilarating! Art Synergy is the unique countywide movement of artists, businesses, and civic leaders committed to unifying and promoting the diverse culture of Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s vibrant arts community. 1.Art Synergy’s Unleashed Art Fair is the organization’s most successful fundraising arts event of the year. The bi-annual event highlights the best of the local Palm Beach County arts and entertainment scene. Unleashed Art Fair is the brainchild of Rolando Chang Barrero and Ilene Gruber Adams of Art Synergy who wanted to spotlight the emergent artists and musicians of Palm Beach County which has fast become one South Florida’s leading world-class art and cultural destinations. VISION 2020, the theme for this year’s Unleashed Art Fair and Fundraiser, is built upon the foundation and mission of “Aspire to Inspire” and will be held at Industry Alley, located at 2600 Florida Ave, West Palm Beach, Florida. The venue has been generously donated by developer and visionary Hunter Beebe who also donated the Warehouse District for Unleashed in 2017.

3.Bibilo 2020 | Art Synergy at Art Palm Beach
A juried exhibition celebrating the book as art. Visual artist have for centuries created illuminated manuscripts, visual journals, art books, sculptures and other renditions and interpretations of “book.” Since antiquity the creation and construction of books, be they bound or loses sheets, has served as an important and vital means of documenting and preserving culture with text and/or imagery. From the original scrolls of Ancient Egypt created on papyrus to the magnificent sculptural books of Anselm Kiefer creator of lead sheets- the book has taken many forms.

John Cutrone is Director of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts at Florida Atlantic University Libraries, as well as a partner in Lake Worth’s Convivio Bookworks, a book arts studio specializing in limited edition letterpress printed books and broadsides (www.conviviobookworks.com). He is the author of the Convivio Book of Days blog, which explores the quirkier side of seasonal traditions, encouraging us to live the ceremony of each day (www.conviviobookworks.com/blog).
