99 Bottles Of Beer: A FUNdraising Event Includes A Call To Artists! The New Studio For The Visual Arts Can’t Wait To See Your Original Artwork! Call Includes Juried And Non-Juried Art

99 BOTTLES OF BEER: a FUNdraising event will benefit the Educational Fund of The New Studio for the Visual Arts. The exhibit is sponsored by Crosby Kitchen & Bar, Jupiter, FL, and there are opportunities for juried applications (eligible for cash awards) and non-juried applications (eligible for bragging rights).  All artwork images must be within the theme of “99 Bottles of Beer” and must include a recognizable image of a bottle (not a can) of a “craft beer brand” only, no major national brand beers will be accepted. Original artwork only. Open to all 2D mediums in oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, and photography. NOTE: Pastels will not be accepted. As a juried artist, the accepted artists will be eligible to compete for prize money and awards and will have exhibition priority. To be juried the artist must register online at www.juriedartservices.com to participate in that status.

 

Up to Nine (9) digital images in jpg format may be submitted at a submission fee of:

  • $30 for 1- 3 image
  • $40 for 4 – 6 images
  • $50 for 7- 9 images

Digital Images should be named with last name, first name, title. Example: SmithTim_HotDogs.jpg

A 40% commission will be retained on any sold work benefiting the educational fund of The New Studio for the Visual Arts.

The New Studio for the Visual Arts is a 501(c)3 charitable educational not-for-profit tax-exempt organization. Gifts may be deductible as a charitable contribution under Federal income tax laws).

 

All artwork images must be within the theme of “99 Bottles of Beer” and must include a recognizable image of a bottle (not a can) of a “craft beer brand” only, no major national brand beers will be accepted.

Original artwork only.

Open to all 2D mediums in oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, and photography.

NOTE: Pastels will not be accepted.

All entries must meet the requirements listed below.

All 2D work must be painted on or mounted on a canvas panel, watercolor board or Masonite board that is 10”h x 8”w (vertical images only)

Must not be framed or wired.

Panel must fit flush against the wall.

All work must be for sale, No NFS or Price on Request.

All sold artwork must remain in the exhibition until the conclusion of the show.

 

DELIVERY & PICKUP:  All shipped works need to come to: The New Studio for the Visual Arts, 1615 South Cypress Drive, Suite 1, Jupiter, FL 33469, (561) 295-5712. All artwork must be received between January 27, 2020 – January 31, 2020 at 4pm. Shipped artwork cannot come in wooden crates or use packing peanuts and must arrive in a reusable container and must include a prepaid computer-generated UPS or FedEx return shipping label. No U.S. Postal Service returns. ALL SHIPMENTS MUST BE MADE THROUGH UPS or FedEx. Do not send stamps, cash or credit card information for return of work.

Artists are responsible for insuring their own work prior to and after the exhibition and while in transport. NO PACKING PEANUTS! All shipments must be sent “Signature Required”. The New Studio for the Visual Arts is not responsible for any lost packages left with no signature required.  Shipments that appear to have major damage upon receipt will not be opened and the artist will be contacted to assist in assessing the damage and determining how to proceed. The artist will be contacted immediately if any major damage is found once work is unpacked. Minor scuffs and scratches as well as typical wear and tear will not be considered “damage” and will be deemed acceptable at the discretion of The New Studio for the Visual Arts. If shipping, please send an email with the tracking information beforehand to newstudioforthevisualarts@gmail.comArtists may also arrange for other individuals to deliver or pickup their work and need to contact The New Studio for the Visual Arts before-hand to make arrangements.


PICK UP :  All unsold work will be returned via shipment or local pickup just as it was received. Artwork will be returned and will be packed and returned in the same packing materials that they were received in. The artist is responsible for arranging the return shipment of their artwork. Pre-paid UPS return labels may be enclosed in the original shipment or emailed to The New Studio for the Visual Arts once the show has ended.

Any work being picked up locally must be picked up between March 2 – 3, 2020, please call (561) 295-5712 to set up times for hand pick up.


LIABILITY:  The New Studio for the Visual Arts is not responsible for loss or damage to artwork while in transit to the show and while on display. The artist agrees to allow The New Studio for the Visual Arts, at its discretion, to utilize photographs or exhibited work for publicity purposes but not for reproduction.

Delivery of artwork  – January 27, 2020 – January 31, 2020 by 4pm

 Application Process for Non-juried Artist Status:

 

As a non-juried artist, all work submitted must meet the criteria set forth in the 99 Bottle of Beer Prospectus stated below. A non-juried artist is not eligible for prize money and awards but can take pride in the fact that they are participating in this exciting fundraising event.

January 17, 2019, Notification of intent to exhibit a non-juried piece of artwork must be submitted no later than this date to qualify. Applications can be obtained in person from The New Studio for the Visual Arts or on the website; www.thenewstudiova.net

DELIVERY OF ARTWORK:

January 27, 2020 to January 31, 2020 by 4pm, all paintings must be hand delivered to the New Studio for the Visual Arts between the dates stated.

ARTWORK PICKUP:

March 2 – 3, 2020, All artwork must be picked on these dates, please call (561) 295-5712 to set up times for hand pick up.
