Sparks! Creative Arts Studio in northeast Tennessee is bringing internationally renowned Master Needle Felting instructor/artist, Anna Potapova from Russia to teach three workshops on Sunday, April 28 (Red Fox class), Monday, April 29 (Sunshine class), and Tuesday, April 30 (Bunny class).  Famous for her delightful dolls and animal figures, Anna is eager to share her enthusiasm and knowledge with students of all levels.  Pat Palowicz and her “flerd” will make students from near and far welcome, as she hosts Anna’s few U.S. stops.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks, plus information about things to do near Rogersville, TN.

Pat Pawlowicz, fiber arts instructor, author, artist, and owner of Sparks! Creative Arts Studio tells The Rickie Report, “We are very excited to be able to offer Needle Felting Master classes for all level and abilities.  Even if you have never picked up a felting needle before, you will be immersed in this amazing art form.  Come, learn from the best!  Anna Potapova, internationally known and respected artist/instructor, will teach three intensive needle felting classes at our studio”.

Anna Potapova lives in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia and teaches world-wide. She is most famous for her charming dolls and animal figures.  Some of the techniques participants will learn include: gauging proportions, facial expressions, how to perfect density, blending wool to create new colors, and how to achieve a smooth flat surface on your creations. Classes are 9 hours, with breaks for snacks and lunch. All materials will be provided and are included in each class fee.
