Annual Las Olas Fair Part II Continues March 2 & 3. Enjoy A Boulevard Showcase Of Fine Art

Las Olas Part II returns to Ft. Lauderdale for the 31st year, bringing thousands of original works of art to the boulevard on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.  This free event showcases over 300 artists exhibiting original fine art and fine crafts.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.

One of the nation’s most-collected sketch artists, GA’s Aaron Reed, returns to Las Olas Art Fair with his motion-filled, colorful works.

 

 

Over 300, top-rated national and international artists display stunning creations across diverse mediums during free, juried showcase 

 

 

Presented by Howard Alan Events, producer of the nation’s top outdoor art festivals, more than 300 artists representing 40 different states and dozens of diverse mediums will line the center of Las Olas Boulevard. Sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art and more are displayed, gallery-style, for the enjoyment of art appreciators, collectors, shoppers and pedestrians alike.

The outdoor, pet-friendly event features a fully vetted, juried selection of fine art. Considered an annual tradition in South Florida, the Las Olas Art Fair also offers the opportunity to meet with the artists, ask about techniques, commission a specific piece and discover the inspiration behind each magnificent creation. 

 

 

PA artist Benjamin Frey’s “Rooms with a View” is a Watercolor Pencil drawing over antique book pages and acrylic paint, inks, pigments and stains. The collaged pages taken from 19th century encyclopedia, schoolbooks, sheet music all relate to the theme of the painting.
