Women In The Visual Arts (WITVA) Invites Public To 30th Annual Celebration Of Giving On February 9. Enjoy Lunch, Boutique, Raffles And Auctions To Benefit Art Scholarships

Women in The Visual Arts (WITVA) invites the public to their 30th Annual Celebration of Giving on Saturday, February 9th at the Boca Beach Club at the Boca Raton Hotel.  Spend the day learning to design and create a special project to take home with you, enjoy an elegant luncheon, shop at the artists’ boutique filled with handcrafted works, and participate in prize raffles and auctions.  Among this year’s prizes: a Goodyear Blimp Ride for 2, a wine tasting party for 20, golf and hotel stays, and so much more!  The Rickie Report shares the details about the luncheon as well as how artists can become more involved in this worthwhile art networking organization. WITVA is a 30-year-old South Florida, all volunteer, non-profit (501(C)3) organization of professional women artists supporting visual arts in the community by sponsoring student art exhibits, awards and scholarships.

Your support to this event will enable WITVA to continue our important work to foster local talent, allowing merit and need based students to pursue their education in the Fine Arts.

All of the proceeds of this event go to Women in the Visual Arts, Inc. a non-profit  501C3 organization, raising funds for High School and College Graduate Art Scholarships. We recognize and celebrate the important artistic work undertaken by our young art students, giving them confidence and empowerment to continue in the field of art.

The February 9th luncheon funds the WITVA Spring Celebration of High School Art to be held in March.  Since 1997, WITVA has invited art students from Palm Beach County public high schools to participate. The prize money and awards are funded by WITVA’s Scholarship Fund, The Irving B. Kahn Foundation, and Delray Buick GMC, and WITVA members, and private donors. An Awards Reception is held for the exhibitors and the teachers on the final day of the exhibit. WITVA recognizes that the teachers are the key to student success and thank them with appreciation certificates.
