Endangered Art4Apes presents “ENDANGERED” Fine Art & Photography Exhibition 2018 from December 5 – 8th in Miami,FL. The public is welcome to view the exhibit, partake in Master Classes, the Opening Reception, Artist Demonstrations, Musical Interludes, and Book Signings. Join in the celebration of wildlife by leading artists and photographers from all over the world! Challenges Facing Wildlife Photographers on Assignment with Ted Schiffman, student of Ansel Adams, National Geographic photographer and author of 16 books. Followed by book signing and discussion.

Meet Rickie Leiter, Founder of The Rickie Report and ENDANGERED Ambassador. View the art with flute performance by Grammy nominated flutist Susan E. Schiffman. Cocktails by Miami Club Rum and European cheese extravaganza.

Young Artists Forum:
11 am – 2 pm: SPIRIT ANIMALS:
Colorado-based visionary artist, illustrator and instructor, Karen Kliethermes, helps young artists draw and paint their favorite animals. Karen will be painting live throughout the exhibition.
1 – 2 pm: VISUAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI
National Geographic photographer, Ted Schiffman, takes young animal lovers on a VISUAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARI
4 – 6 pm: SAFARI ADVENTURES WITH TED SCHIFFMAN
A student of Ansel Adams, National Geographic photographer and author of 16 books. This will be a one hour talk and discussion followed by book signing.
6 – 9 pm: Reception

All proceeds from the exhibition support the Center for Great Apes, a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization. The Center for Great Apes’ mission is to provide a permanent sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, or who are no longer wanted as pets. The Center provides care with dignity in a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for great apes in need of lifetime care.
