Work space and equipment in the Jewelry/Metalsmithing studios is available to rent for artists looking for a comprehensively equipped jewelry studio to create work independent of the Armory Art Center‘s school and programming. To register, you must have experience in the field or have taken the Beginning Jewelry course at the Armory and complete a safety test. Studio hours are a 3-hour minimum, which include day and evening hours during the week and Saturday afternoon. The Rickie Report shares the details and some photos of the facility’s equipment.

Three types of shears
To register, you must have experience in the field or have taken the Beginning Jewelry course at the Armory and complete a safety test. Studio hours are a 3-hour minimum, which include day and evening hours during the week and Saturday afternoon. Please check with registration for the current schedule. Equipment features 2 hydraulic presses, 3 rolling mills, 4 acetylene B tanks, 2 enameling kilns, centrifuge, vacuum casting, burn out kiln, 2 buffing machines, etc.
