New Workshops And Classes At Boca Museum School Of Art Plus Student And Faculty Art Exhibits
June is a very active month at the Boca Raton Museum School of Art! Youth Summer Camp has just begun and the Summer Teen Art Workshops are underway. There is still time to sign up! Stop by and see the Art School Student 5×5 Exhibit, which is open now. JUNE AROUND THE ART SCHOOL
June is a very active month at the Art School; Youth Summer Art Camp just started as well as the Summer Teen Art Workshops, 5 X 5 Student Exhibition at the School Gallery will take place on June 6, the Art School Faculty Exhibition and Artist Talk at the Wolgin Gallery at the Boca Raton Museum in Mizner on June 21 and Summer Adult classes for term A also started this week to make The Art School a very exciting and inspiring place to be.
10 WEEKS OF EXCITING AND CHALLENGING
YOUTH SUMMER ART CAMP
Led by professional art educators, children explore art techniques and artistic concepts. Art projects are geared to age groups 5-7, 8-10, and 11-12. Themed weeks and a wide variety of creative projects stimulate children’s imagination. A balance is sought between preserving children’s natural creativity and learning new skills to better express themselves.
Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm $285 Per Week
Doors open: Monday, 8:30 am; Tuesday-Friday, 8:45 am Early Care: 8:00 am – 9:00 am ($25 per week)
After Care: 4:00 – 5:15 pm ($25 per week)
Closed Wednesday, July 4 (during week 5)
SUMMER TEENS ART WORKSHOPS
Ages 13 – 18 June 4 – August 10, 2018.
During the summer, the Art School offers four-day weekly workshops focusing on different art techniques, and workshops for students who are planning to apply to specialized arts middle and high school or college. All workshops from Figure Drawing, Fashion Design and Sewing, Photography and Video Production, Comics, Portfolio Development, Jewelry Making and Paper Sculpture and Beyond, meet Tuesdays through Fridays.

During the summer we present a very special exhibit in the Art School Gallery, this year we have selected 5 talented students from 5 different mediums to exhibit their work. Celebrate the talent of Consie Sabinson and Ed Caplan from Miles Laventhall’s Masters’ Studio, Max Duckworth from Allan Pierce’s Advanced Photography class, Betty Areson from Carla Golembe’s Painting Class and Yvonne Pfeiffer from Stephen Futej’s Ceramics and Pottery class.
