Portrait Of Old Floresta Plein Air Paintings Featured At Boca Raton Museum Of Art School. Opening Reception April 6
The Boca Raton Museum Art School is hosting an exhibit of painting by the Plein Air Palm Beach artists group. The exhibit opens on Friday, April 6, with a reception to meet the artists. The paintings on exhibit were each painted on site in the historic Old Floresta neighborhood behind the Art School. Old Floresta was created in the 1920’s by Addison Mizner. The lush vegetation and original Mizner houses present a picturesque view of old Florida. Plein Air Palm Beach is an active artists group that organizes painting meet ups and exhibits throughout Palm Beach County. This exhibit will be available for one week only, until April 12, 2018. The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks. New, Spring classes at the Art School start April 16, 2018.

Paintings of Old Floresta by Plein Air Palm Beach group
The Boca Raton Museum Art School is partnering with the Plein Air Painters of Palm Beach County to exhibit plein air paintings, including portraits of houses and views of the streets of Old Floresta. Old Floresta is the Mizner designed neighborhood behind the Art School. There are twenty-nine original 1920’s homes along the picturesque tree-lined streets of Old Floresta.
