Gil Walsh
Working primarily in Palm Beach, Pennsylvania, and Martha’s Vineyard, Gil’s exquisite book comes to life with rooms showing that color can be enjoyed with gusto, whether in pretty pastels or bold, bright hues. From beach houses in the Florida Keys, to sky-scraping apartments in Palm Beach, historic landmark buildings such as Fallingwater and the Duquesne Club in Pennsylvania, and a cozy cottage on Martha’s Vineyard, Gil has applied her artistic eye and techniques to a wide variety of interiors and period styles.
Gil Walsh is an active member in the American Society of Interior Designers and a member of the Society of Classical Architecture. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Palm Beach Magazine, Florida Design, Jupiter Magazine, Luxe, Beautiful Homes, Florida Travel and Lifestyle, New England Homes and Vineyard Style to name a few. In 2017 Gil designed a room for the 2017 Kip’s Bay Decorator Show House in New York.
Known for her extraordinary eye for detail in design, color and fabrics, Gil Walsh has led over $200 million in interior design work over 40 years. She grew up in homes filled with classic design and style and realized early in life that interior design was her calling as it enabled her to integrate her keen fashion sense, with her deep interest in art history and architecture.
