Art Fair Continues 30 Year Celebration On The Boulevard During 
Las Olas Art Fair Part 2 March 3 – 4, With Over 300 Artists

The thirty year celebration continues on the Boulevard with even more diverse offerings from 300+ national artists on March 3 – 4. The Las Olas Art Fair, which began decades ago as a small block festival, now stretches along the Boulevard and includes three weekends throughout the year. Presented by Howard Alan Events, producer of the nation’s top outdoor art festivals, artists from 30 different states and dozens of diverse mediums will line the center of Las Olas Boulevard.  The Rickie Report shares the details and some sneak peeks.

 

 

 

30th Annual Las Olas Art Fair (Part 2)

Dwayne Cranford  (CO)   Gray Flagstone that has been water tumbled, drilled & concreted with an insert. The frame is all hand-welded steel, consisting of a farm plow disc, leaf spring and new steel for functional furniture.

 

 

Sculpture, jewelry, woodwork, paintings, wearable art and more are displayed, gallery-style, for the enjoyment of art appreciators, collectors, shoppers and pedestrians alike. Considered an annual tradition in South Florida, the Las Olas Art Fair also offers the opportunity to meet with the artists, ask about techniques, commission a specific piece and discover the inspiration behind each magnificent creation.

 

Terry Evans (KS)  Two chambered vessel using figured mango wood, wenge, butternut veneer, and smoked etimoe veneer. No paint or stain is used.
