Lighthouse ArtCenter Offer Plein Air Workshops With Award Winning Artists Plus Valentine Date Night With Clay. Open To The Public

The Lighthouse ArtCenter will offer Plein Air Workshops with Award Winning Artists, beginning February 3rd.  Learn from the masters of plein air, or painting outdoors. These workshops are led by some of the 5th Annual Plein Air Festival artists. Painting outside presents different challenges, and these artists can help you learn how to begin a painting, seeing light and shadows, looking for shapes, and how to deal with painting in different mediums with limited resources. NEW Select Fridays – Play with Clay, “A Toast to Ghost: A Valentine’s Date Night”on Friday, February 9th.   The Rickie Report shares the details and urges you to sign up now!  These opportunities are open to non-members as well as members!

Friday, February 9, 2018; 6pm to 8pm; $125 per couple

While viewing the smooth moves of Patrick Swayze and the stunning looks of Demi Moore in the Romantic/Drama “Ghost”, you and your date will learn how to throw pots on the potter’s wheel. Each participant will walk away with his/her very own creation. Please wear clothes that may get clay on them. Over 21 only, bring your own beverages. Food/snacks will be provided by Art Center. No experience necessary. Instructor: Chad Steve
