Picasso and His Women

In this lively introduction to Picasso’s artwork gain an understanding of the instrumental role that women played in his art and life. Focusing on the three major periods of his art you will learn to better appreciate the different periods of Picasso’s art work and how he changed the course of Western Art.

Lecture 2: The Beginning of Cubism and his relationship with other artists
Lecture 3: Returning to figurative art after the War

Laura Galbán earned an M.A., Art History, Institute of Fine Arts New York University. After working in prestigious institutions such as Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid and The Hispanic Society in New York, she was director of the Cultural Department at Canning House in London. In Spain she represented 20th Century Master artists and was as an art advisor for clients in New York and Florida. Now in Florida, Laura Galban consultants, l’Artban, promotes contemporary artists in the United States.
