Dana tells The Rickie Report, “Using a “minimalist” vocabulary, I express my perception in a “visual voice” conveyed in a Hard-Edged Abstraction style. Predominantly painting with acrylic on canvas, my work is both non-representational and figurative. I use collage as preliminary sketches for my paintings. Found imagery and forms are arranged, added to and subtracted from, until my concept emerges”.
