“Oodles of Doodles” by Susan Schanerman
Don’t miss the Solo exhibition featuring the artistic accomplishments of 70 year old Susan Schanerman. An artist and writer who has overcome many obstacles in her life stemming from a paralyzing case of polio at age 7, Susan considers herself “a very late bloomer.” She didn’t pick up her first paint brush until 1995 . . . and then it took another 20 years to “put herself and her work out there.”
“Rainbow Woods” by Susan Schanerman
Susan’s work, or “heART”, as she likes to call it, is playful, whimsical, uplifting, inspiring and FUN. She uses vibrant color and the child-like tone speaks for the child within us all . . . the child who still knows freedom, innocence and joy . . . “I can only hope that my “heART” can add just a little bit of light and joy to a very dark world.”
“Flower Extravaganza” by Susan Schanerman
Susan’s “heART” is now her passion. She believes there is creativity in us all. It’s our very nature and acts as a means of communication, heart to heart, soul to soul. In 2004, Susan came up with the idea of “heARTmatters: There’s ART in Every heART”. She has now expanded on that idea . . . and so the title of this show . . . “heARTmatters: It’s Never Too Late to Create. “There is more and more evidence supporting the idea that any kind of art-making is actually good for your health!” Schanerman says.
“The Glory Of Creation” by Susan Schanerman
This will be Susan’s second Solo Exhibition of her heART. Her first Solo Show was hosted by VSA Palm Beach County. It is her deepest desire that her work “Touches Your Heart, Stirs Your Soul and Puts a Smile on Your Face!!”
