The Lake Worth Art League (LWAL) is looking for both 2D & 3D artwork for the exhibition, “All About The Sea”. Local and non-local artists are invited to apply by sending photos of their work.  The Public is invited to the Free Opening Reception on Sunday, August 27th.  Enjoy wine, nibbles, entertainment and meet the artists!  The Exhibit will hang from August 21 to September 18. The Rickie Report shares the details and urges everyone to apply for this opportunity to show and sell your artwork!

If shipping artwork, artist must be prepared to pay for return shipping if item is not sold.

Non-members can submit 2 images for $30. (Become a member for $75 a year and the $30 will be waived).

Payment of check, credit card, and cash will be taken after acceptance, at time of drop off.  

IF items are being shipped, payment should be made before shipping.

 
Deadline for submitting is Wednesday, August 16th by 11:59pm.

Artists will be contacted by email on or before Friday, August 18.

Drop off is Monday, August 21 from 10:30am to 2:00pm.

Some exceptions can be made if contacted in advance to lwartleague@gmail.com.

An Important Reminder from our Hanging Committee:

Entries must be suitably framed or “gallery wrapped”.

They must be wired for hanging, with tape over the wire ends.

No saw-toothed hangers will be permitted.

If matted, the mats must be clean and well cut.

No glass is permitted (must use plexiglass).

The maximum size for works is 48″, including the frame.

They must weigh no more than 30 lbs.

Before Take In, on the back upper right hand corner, place a label with the following information: Artist’s Name, Title of the work, Medium, Price, and Artist’s phone number.

Prominent experienced local artist, Mark Allen, will be judging this show for awards.

(1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mention ribbons only – no cash awards in off-season)
