The public is invited to see the most colorful work on one of Florida’s accomplished artists, Pamela J. Ayres now through April 18th, 2017.  This exciting exhibit of 30 original oil and acrylic paintings is on display at the Juno Beach Town Center from Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm.

Pamela who was born in Minneapolis, MN is an avid painter working in oil and acrylic plein air as well as in her studio.  She travels and paints with other accomplished outdoor artists from California to Florida, applying fresh color and energetic strokes to her works.  Intrigued by the effects of light, temperature and color relationships, Pamela is continuously discovering new ways of interpreting nature’s beauty onto her canvases.

In addition to her current exhibit, Pamela has been accepted into numerous juried shows and has taken awards.  She maintains memberships with the Lighthouse ArtCenter Guild, Plein Air Palm Beach, North County Art Association, the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America and the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association.

Pamela tells The Rickie Report, “I am compelled to express the way light dances off the scenery of our everyday lives.  Whether painting from life in my studio or outdoors on location, I try to convey the emotion of what I am experiencing at that particular moment.  My goal is to delight the eyes of the viewer by inviting them into the scene of the painting itself.”

“By using vivid color, interesting forms and animated brushwork, I hope to involve and entertain others.  For me, painting is a way of reaching out to people.  I love capturing a fleeting glimpse that perhaps other haven’t seen…I feel it just shouldn’t be missed!  I want to share the underlying message that might be humorous in nature or important to our humanity”.

Most recently, Pamela won an award at Delray Beach Plein Air Fun Fest.  Previous exhibits include: Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, Lighthouse ArtCenter, Northwood University, Cornell Museum, Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Eissey Theater Gallery, Palm Beach International Airport Art in Public Places, Jupiter Recreation Center Art Gallery, Naples Art Association Von Liebig Art Center, Paint The Beach Plein Air Festival Ft. Myers Beach Art Association, Multilingual Language/Cultural Society, Coral Springs Museum of Art, Armory Art Center, and the Randy Higbee Gallery in Costa Mesa CA.
